Data Deletion

If you have connected your Instagram account to SMIPA CC, this page explains what Instagram data we store and how you can request its deletion from our systems.
What data we store
When you connect Instagram to SMIPA CC, we may store:
- Instagram account ID and username
- Instagram access tokens (used to fetch insights)
- Audience demographics and insights data
- Media and post performance data
How to request deletion
- Email admin@smipa.co.uk with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Include your name and the Instagram account connected to SMIPA
- We will delete all associated Instagram data within 30 days and confirm via email
Automatic deletion
- If you disconnect your Instagram account from SMIPA, your access token is immediately revoked
- Remaining insights data is deleted within 30 days
